Majestic beauties

My very first post about city I live in, well, just a small part of it – Richmond park. Have to warn – not very “Londonish”. Amazing how such a big city like London can have such an amazing nature escapes and have beautiful animals running freely around! This post is more about who we met along the way. When looking at my photos, find hard to believe it’s actually London… in a good way.

Been living in London for a few years now and today was the first time I finally managed to get myself to Richmond park and my mum too, who has came for a visit. A massive field but a lot of nice surprises! Main reason to go there was deer, had very little expectations to see any so we walked and walked a lot until suddenly around 30 deer were marching on the road! Even for us, who used to live next to the forest for couple of years (happy childhood!), was something hard to believe to see so many at once. A lot of youngsters an can’t wait to visit Richmond park again when it’s winter and those youngsters are a bit bigger. Ahh, how I would like to have those nice photos with deer and mist on the background… I’m patient enough to wait till winter when weather conditions will be more appropriate to take those photos.

Very green.

This is where our walk ended this time.

Yep, looks nothing like London and it even smelled fresh too, well, somewhere it smelled like being on a farm and I love it!
